The Wrong Dungeon_11.20.25


Just a couple more quick changes and fixes:

-Move speed was taken out as an end of floor upgrade for now, I'm still having a hard time making the sprites work correctly when moving at not-specific speeds if the camera is on them.

-Enemies got rebalanced a bit when completing a floor, they no longer have much of an increase in move speed, attack speed, attack cooldown, attack reset, etc. These values all also cap at %180 of their original value so enemies don't become insane/completely unbeatable.

-Certain powerups now say "Maxed" when you've hit a certain point, right now it's just physical defense.

-Floors now have different enemy spawn group patterns, instead of just being 6 groups of 3 enemies and one group of 2, there is now 1 group of 4 enemies, 4 groups of 3 enemies, and 2 groups of 2 enemies on every floor.

Currently I'm struggling to fix an issue where the game doesn't properly reset after you've beaten the 12 floor, obviously in a longer game it wouldn't be an issue because I'd just have more floors in general, but it's bothering me a lot because everything resets perfectly if you die and return to the main menu, so I'm wondering why it's been so hard for me to transition that over into resetting the game if you haven't done that.

*Update: Just kidding, there's an issue with that too. Currently the game won't let you re-do the same floors, so I'm fixing that ASAP- I think I've found a fairly constant fix that involves just duplicating the rooms rather than trying to reset everything. It'll be a bunch of code to implement it but I think it'll be way easier in the long run.
